Aufgabenblock — AFB II

%
Ansatz: Näherung \(\mathrm{pH} = \tfrac12(\mathrm{p}K_\mathrm{S} - \lg c_0)\); exakt: \(x^2 + K_\mathrm{S}x - K_\mathrm{S}c_0 = 0\) mit \(x = c(\ce{H3O+})\) (3.2.5).
Weiter: \(K_\mathrm{S} = 10^{-2{,}86} \approx 1{,}38 \cdot 10^{-3}\); \(x = -\tfrac{K_\mathrm{S}}{2} + \sqrt{\tfrac{K_\mathrm{S}^2}{4} + K_\mathrm{S}c_0}\).
Lösung: a) 2,08 b) x ≈ 7,65 · 10⁻³ mol/L → pH ≈ 2,12 c) α ≈ 15 %
Vollständige Lösung
a) \(\mathrm{pH} = \tfrac12(2{,}86 + 1{,}30) \approx 2{,}08\). b) \(K_\mathrm{S} = 1{,}38 \cdot 10^{-3}\,\text{mol/L}\); \(x = -6{,}9 \cdot 10^{-4} + \sqrt{4{,}8 \cdot 10^{-7} + 6{,}9 \cdot 10^{-5}} \approx 7{,}65 \cdot 10^{-3}\,\text{mol/L}\) → \(\mathrm{pH} \approx 2{,}12\). c) \(\alpha = 7{,}65 \cdot 10^{-3} : 0{,}050 \approx 15\,\%\).
A2
Verdünnen erhöht den Protolysegrad
AFB II

Berechnen Sie mit dem Ostwald’schen Verdünnungsgesetz (exakt, quadratische Gleichung) den Protolysegrad von Essigsäure (\(\mathrm{p}K_\mathrm{S} = 4{,}75\)) für a) \(c_0 = 0{,}10\,\text{mol/L}\) und b) \(c_0 = 0{,}0010\,\text{mol/L}\). Erklären Sie das Ergebnis mit dem Prinzip von Le Chatelier.

%
%
Ansatz: \(K_\mathrm{S} = \dfrac{\alpha^2 c_0}{1 - \alpha}\) (3.2.4) nach \(\alpha\) umstellen: \(c_0\alpha^2 + K_\mathrm{S}\alpha - K_\mathrm{S} = 0\).
Weiter: \(K_\mathrm{S} = 1{,}78 \cdot 10^{-5}\); \(\alpha = \dfrac{-K_\mathrm{S} + \sqrt{K_\mathrm{S}^2 + 4c_0K_\mathrm{S}}}{2c_0}\).
Lösung: a) α ≈ 1,32 % b) α ≈ 12,5 %
Vollständige Lösung
a) \(\sqrt{K_\mathrm{S}^2 + 4c_0K_\mathrm{S}} = \sqrt{3{,}2 \cdot 10^{-10} + 7{,}1 \cdot 10^{-6}} \approx 2{,}67 \cdot 10^{-3}\); \(\alpha = (2{,}67 \cdot 10^{-3} - 1{,}8 \cdot 10^{-5}) : 0{,}20 \approx 0{,}0132\) = 1,32 %. b) analog \(\alpha \approx 0{,}125\) = 12,5 %. Hundertfache Verdünnung → etwa zehnfacher Protolysegrad. \(K_\mathrm{S}\) bleibt gleich, \(c_0\) sinkt → \(\alpha\) muss steigen. Le Chatelier: Beim Verdünnen sinken alle Konzentrationen; das Gleichgewicht \(\ce{HA + H2O <=> A- + H3O+}\) weicht zur Seite mit mehr gelösten Teilchen aus (rechts: zwei Ionen statt eines Moleküls).
A3
Soda und Ammoniumchlorid
AFB II

Ansatz: Welches Ion protolysiert? \(\ce{Na+}\) und \(\ce{Cl-}\) sind Zuschauer (3.2.6).
Weiter: a) \(\ce{CO3^2-}\) ist Base: \(\mathrm{p}K_\mathrm{B} = 14 - 10{,}33 = 3{,}67\), erst pOH. b) \(\ce{NH4+}\) ist schwache Säure.
Lösung: a) pOH ≈ 2,34 → pH ≈ 11,67 b) pH ≈ 4,97
Vollständige Lösung
a) \(\ce{CO3^2- + H2O <=> HCO3- + OH-}\); \(\mathrm{pOH} = \tfrac12(3{,}67 + 1) \approx 2{,}34\) → \(\mathrm{pH} \approx 11{,}67\) (Kontrolle: \(\alpha \approx 4{,}6\,\%\), Näherung gerade noch zulässig). b) \(\ce{NH4+ + H2O <=> NH3 + H3O+}\); \(\mathrm{pH} = \tfrac12(9{,}25 + 0{,}70) \approx 4{,}97\).
A4
Natriumdihydrogenphosphat: sauer oder alkalisch?
AFB II

Ampholyt-Näherung \(\tfrac12(\mathrm{p}K_{\mathrm{S}1} + \mathrm{p}K_{\mathrm{S}2})\).
Lösung: sauer; pH ≈ 4,69
Vollständige Lösung
Als Säure: \(\ce{H2PO4- + H2O <=> HPO4^2- + H3O+}\), \(\mathrm{p}K_\mathrm{S} = 7{,}21\). Als Base: \(\ce{H2PO4- + H2O <=> H3PO4 + OH-}\), \(\mathrm{p}K_\mathrm{B} = 14 - 2{,}16 = 11{,}84\). \(K_\mathrm{S} = 10^{-7{,}21}\) ist rund 40 000-mal größer als \(K_\mathrm{B} = 10^{-11{,}84}\) → die Säurereaktion überwiegt, die Lösung ist sauer. \(\mathrm{pH} \approx \tfrac12(2{,}16 + 7{,}21) \approx 4{,}69\), unabhängig von \(c_0\).
A5
Wie sauer ist Haushaltsessig?
AFB II

Weiter: \(c = 0{,}100 \cdot 16{,}8 : 20{,}0\); Verdünnung 10 mL → 100 mL = Faktor 10; \(\beta = c \cdot M\).
Lösung: a) 0,084 mol/L b) 0,84 mol/L c) ≈ 50,4 g/L
Vollständige Lösung
a) \(n(\ce{NaOH}) = 1{,}68\,\text{mmol} = n(\ce{CH3COOH})\) → \(c = 1{,}68 : 20{,}0 = 0{,}084\,\text{mol/L}\). b) Verdünnungsfaktor 10: \(c = 0{,}84\,\text{mol/L}\). c) \(\beta = 0{,}84 \cdot 60{,}05 \approx 50{,}4\,\text{g/L}\) (≈ 5 % Essigsäure — typisch für Speiseessig).

%
Ansatz: \(\lg \dfrac{c(\ce{Ind-})}{c(\ce{HInd})} = \mathrm{pH} - \mathrm{p}K_\mathrm{S}(\ce{HInd})\) (3.3.5).
Weiter: a) \(10^{-0{,}8}\) b) \(10^{0{,}6}\); Anteil \(= r : (1 + r)\).
Lösung: a) ≈ 0,16 b) ≈ 4,0 c) ≈ 80 %

mL
Ansatz: \(V_\text{ÄP}\) aus \(n_0(\ce{HA}) = n(\ce{OH-})\); Start: schwache Säure (3.2.5); HÄP: pH = pKs (3.3.3).
Weiter: Am ÄP liegt nur Propanoat vor, \(c(\ce{A-}) = n_0 : (V_\text{Probe} + V_\text{ÄP})\) — Verdünnung beachten! \(\mathrm{p}K_\mathrm{B} = 9{,}13\).
Lösung: a) 20,0 mL b) 2,98 c) 4,87 d) 8,76
Vollständige Lösung
a) \(n_0 = 0{,}080 \cdot 25{,}0 = 2{,}0\,\text{mmol}\) → \(V_\text{ÄP} = 2{,}0 : 0{,}100 = 20{,}0\,\text{mL}\). b) \(\mathrm{pH} = \tfrac12(4{,}87 + 1{,}10) \approx 2{,}98\). c) \(\mathrm{pH} = \mathrm{p}K_\mathrm{S} = 4{,}87\). d) \(c(\ce{A-}) = 2{,}0 : 45{,}0 \approx 0{,}0444\,\text{mol/L}\); \(\mathrm{pOH} = \tfrac12(9{,}13 + 1{,}35) \approx 5{,}24\) → \(\mathrm{pH} \approx 8{,}76\) — alkalisch, wie für eine schwache Säure zu erwarten.
A8
Eine unbekannte Säure identifizieren
AFB II

V in mL02,04,08,010,0
pH2,382,863,173,583,75
V in mL12,016,018,019,019,5
pH3,934,354,715,035,34
V in mL20,020,521,022,024,0
pH8,2311,0911,3911,6811,96

Lösung: a) 20,0 mL b) 0,100 mol/L c) pKs ≈ 3,75 → Methansäure
Vollständige Lösung
a) Größte Steigung zwischen 19,5 und 20,5 mL (ΔpH ≈ 5,8) → \(V_\text{ÄP} \approx 20{,}0\,\text{mL}\). b) \(c_0 = 0{,}100 \cdot 20{,}0 : 20{,}0 = 0{,}100\,\text{mol/L}\). c) \(V_\text{HÄP} = 10{,}0\,\text{mL}\), dort pH 3,75 → \(\mathrm{p}K_\mathrm{S} \approx 3{,}75\) → Methansäure. Plausibel: Anfangs-pH \(\tfrac12(3{,}75 + 1{,}00) \approx 2{,}4\) passt zu 2,38; ÄP bei pH 8,2 im Alkalischen. Chloressigsäure würde niedriger starten, Hypochlorige Säure hätte kaum einen Sprung.
A9
Puffer gegen Lauge
AFB II

Weiter: \(n(\ce{OH-}) = 2{,}0\,\text{mmol}\); \(n(\ce{A-}) = 10 + 2\), \(n(\ce{HA}) = 10 - 2\). Wasser: \(c(\ce{OH-}) = 2{,}0 : 102\,\text{mol/L}\).
Lösung: a) pH ≈ 4,93 b) pH ≈ 12,29
Vollständige Lösung
\(\ce{CH3COOH + OH-}\) \(\ce{-> CH3COO- + H2O}\). a) \(\mathrm{pH} = 4{,}75 + \lg \dfrac{12}{8} \approx 4{,}93\) — Änderung nur um 0,18. b) \(c(\ce{OH-}) = 2{,}0\,\text{mmol} : 102\,\text{mL} \approx 0{,}0196\,\text{mol/L}\) → \(\mathrm{pOH} \approx 1{,}71\), \(\mathrm{pH} \approx 12{,}29\) — ein Sprung um mehr als fünf Einheiten.
A10
Carbonatpuffer für pH 10,0
AFB II

Für einen Enzymtest wird 1,00 L Carbonatpuffer mit pH 10,00 benötigt; die Summe \(n(\ce{HCO3-}) + n(\ce{CO3^2-})\) soll 0,100 mol betragen (\(\mathrm{p}K_\mathrm{S}(\ce{HCO3-}) = 10{,}33\)). Berechnen Sie a) das Stoffmengenverhältnis \(n(\ce{CO3^2-}) : n(\ce{HCO3-})\), b) die Masse an \(\ce{NaHCO3}\) (\(M = 84{,}01\,\text{g/mol}\)) und c) die Masse an \(\ce{Na2CO3}\) (\(M = 105{,}99\,\text{g/mol}\)).

g
g
Ansatz: \(\dfrac{n(\ce{A-})}{n(\ce{HA})} = 10^{\,\mathrm{pH} - \mathrm{p}K_\mathrm{S}}\) (3.4.2); hier ist \(\ce{HCO3-}\) die Säure.
Weiter: \(r = 10^{-0{,}33}\); \(n(\ce{HA}) = 0{,}100 : (1 + r)\), \(n(\ce{A-}) = 0{,}100 - n(\ce{HA})\); \(m = n \cdot M\).
Lösung: a) r ≈ 0,468 b) ≈ 5,72 g c) ≈ 3,38 g
Vollständige Lösung
a) \(r = 10^{10{,}00 - 10{,}33} = 10^{-0{,}33} \approx 0{,}468\). \(n(\ce{HCO3-}) = 0{,}100 : 1{,}468 \approx 0{,}0681\,\text{mol}\), \(n(\ce{CO3^2-}) \approx 0{,}0319\,\text{mol}\). b) \(m = 0{,}0681 \cdot 84{,}01 \approx 5{,}72\,\text{g}\). c) \(m = 0{,}0319 \cdot 105{,}99 \approx 3{,}38\,\text{g}\).
